If any individual member of the human body fails to function, it cripples the human body. The body cannot operate at its maximum efficiency and effectiveness without that member. So it is in the body of Christ. Every single member is absolutely necessary for the smooth operation of the spiritual body. Every gift, no matter how apparently insignificant, is vital to the effective functioning of the body of Christ.
